Welcome

Fabrications is a small group of fiber artist friends living in Northern and Central Lower Michigan.  The idea of a retreat began in 2004 when we met at Garland Resort for a weekend.

For 2008 we are presenting 3 exciting teachers!  They are:

• Jeanne Beck 'It's All About the Stitch'   Class Full
• Laura Cater-Woods 'Tempting the Muse' 2 spaces left
• Fran Skiles  'Painting, Printing, and Collage' Class Full
• Due to low enrollment, we've cancelled the workshops "Make it Your Own"  and "Artist's Journey:  Work in a Series".

Retreat goals include, but are not limited to:

• Instruction that fosters the creative spirit.
• Working in a peaceful setting
• Exploring new ideas and techniques
• Meeting fellow artists

All students are encouraged to explore their own artistry regardless of skill level or background.  Take time to read our website.  Visit our teachers' sites.  Ask any questions that come to mind. In the end, we hope you'll find Fabrications to be an experience that is both refreshing and inspiring.
